The Lord Nelson is an iconic Geelong pub steeped in history and an old favourite among the locals. After an eight month renovation, the Nelson has been restored, refurbished and re-opened to the public. The first step was to revive the original 1920s façade and the second was to include the rich heritage of the pubs namesake, Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson. The decoration and design of the pub is emblematic of the great Victorian-style pub, The Lord Nelson provides an experience different to any other; serving food that is unparalleled with any other hotel in Geelong.

Le Parisien is situated right on Geelong’s Waterfront and gives widespread views of Corio Bay. The building originally being an old boat shed still retains many of its original timber features, the main dining room is full of exposed timber beams and surrounded with large windows. Le Parisien also has a balcony, perfect for those long Sunday lunches in the sun. The main dining room has the capacity for seating up to 130 people as well as a full public address system making it perfect for weddings and functions, Le Parisien is also equipped with a private function room with a sit-down dining capacity of up to 40 people.

Le Parisien provides an exquisite fine dining experience. The food is a mix of modern and classic French cuisines, our wine list, showcasing local and international vineyards.

Le Parisien offers a new, soundproofed, private function room offering the latest technology. You will have access to a large Plasma screen, monitor ports for direct input from your laptop, DVD, a separate sound system, and internet connection.

Big enough to cater for up to 40 dining, 50 in a cocktail setting, or 60 "theatre style", your private room is perfect for breakfast meetings, business meetings, powerpoint presentations, medical presentations, birthdays, anniversaries, or small weddings. Anything is possible in your own room.

The space is also available for hire as a stand-alone meeting room.

Meals can be selected from our extensive menu or alternatively, a personalised menu can be designed to suit any budget.
